EVPs
are recordings of anomalous voices often said to be the voices
of the dead. They are not heard during the time of the recording,
but are heard during playback. It is not certain that these
voices are indeed the voices of the deceased since the true
origin of them is unknown, but they remain to be one of the
more fascinating forms of documented paranormal activity to
date. For more information on Electronic Voice Phenomena,
please read this article.
The
files listed below are the best EVPs we have captured so far
and they are genuine. They have not been altered in any way
to ensure the true experience of the listener. What you will
hear is how these recordings were heard upon the original
time of playback. Feel free to let us know what you think
by filling out the form on our Inquiries
page.
The
two files listed at the top were provided with permission
for us to use on our website by paranormal investigator and
friend Al Rauber. We are thankful and appreciate Al's support
by providing us with some of his own personal recordings.
Thanks Al!

Lizzie Borden House- Fall River, MA:
This evp has been personally provided with permission
for use on our website by fellow investigator and friend
Al Rauber. In response to "who made the mirror
move?" (pertaining to when filming for Ghost Stories
two years ago, a mirror in a locked hutch moved on its
own) Al got the answer "Asa". Al later discovered
after referencing the history of the home that an Asa
Gifford lived in the house during the end of the 1800's.

New:
Private Residence - New Castle, DE 6/22/08: Near
the end of this clip, a man’s voice can be heard
when the female resident responds to Christopher Orapello's
question. The voice is heard in the background when
she speaks and is very distinguishable. The only men
present at this time were Orapello and Fritzsche.

New:
Private Location - Haddon Heights, NJ 5/10/08:
This clip contains two different sounding EVPs.
It should be mentioned that there were only two individuals
present during the time this recording was made. The
first person you will hear is Christopher Orapello talking.
Then you will hear Christopher Fritzsche, who is much
closer to the recorder, respond with a "yea."
During the middle of the clip there is a quiet EVP which
can be heard starting upon the sound of two beats and
a sharp clicking sound, but it is very quiet and tough
to decipher and occurs in the background after Orapello
says, "um". The other EVP, the more noticeable
one, is heard at the end of the clip and sounds like
a "Yes." This EVP could be mocking Fritzsche,
but it could also be responding to Orapello's beginning
statement.

Private
Residence - Chester, PA 6/30/07: In this clip
you first hear a dog bark but then you hear a quiet
female voice speaking in the background saying “to
bring things to you” which is the EVP. This EVP
is then followed by Tara and possibly John both saying
“hello” at the same time. It is not believed
that they are reacting to the EVP but are openly speaking
out to the space. The interesting thing about this EVP
is that it has room like acoustics to it so it’s
not a voice from outside the garage.

Private
Residence - Chester, PA 6/30/07: This evp occured
during a moment of silence in the investigation. It
sounds like an older woman saying “I’m pressin”
or “I’m Preston.”

Fort
Mifflin, PA 9/23/06: You
will hear me say “goodnight sir” and there
is a response which almost sounds like the word “promotion.”

Fort
Mifflin, PA 9/23/06:
In
this clip you will hear Chris ask, “Is anyone
in here?” upon which a seemingly male voice replies.
The EVP itself sounds like an older southern man saying
“none-uh-yer business.”

Fort
Mifflin, PA: 9/23/06: In this evp an obvious
voice is heard who was not anyone present at the time.
The funny thing about this recording is that the same
voice and vocal cadence can be heard several seconds
later but faster in the clip below.
|
| |
Fort
Mifflin, PA 9/23/06: After the investigator
says “it went away,” you will hear the evp
occur but at a faster pace and as if it was fading out.
After the evp you then here Chris respond to the other
investigator by saying, “that’s freaky.”
They were not referring to the unknown voice in the
recording because they did not know it was there until
the recording was reviewed.

Florence
Lodge - Woodbury, NJ 8/19/06:
In the beginning of this clip you will hear the Lodge
Master say “the original ones.” At the time
he was discussing how old the lodge was and was referring
to the curtains saying that he believes that they are
the original ones from when the room was first furnished
80yrs ago. After he says “the original ones”
you can hear a very noticeable whisper say “same
spot.”

Florence
Lodge - Woodbury, NJ 8/19/06: This
next clip starts with Tara saying “tell us all about
it.” She was joking about Chris just previously
announcing to the room that he had placed a recorder on
the altar of the lodge and that any messages one would
like to leave would be documented by it. After Tara says
“tell us all about it,” a whispered voice
can be heard responding to her with, “it’s
alright”. |
